List of top 10 RICHEST TRIBES and top 10 POOREST TRIBES in Kenya - KIKUYU and LUO leads respectively

According to a report released by aUnited Kingdom based Non Government Organization (NGO), poverty levels have increased in the country for the past 10 y ears due to poor governance, ancient farming methods and too much expectation from the Government.  In a report released on Monday , the NGO which was sponsored by Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation ranked poverty levels according to tribes and regions.In terms of regions, Rift Valley was the richest region, followed by Central Kenya, Nairobi came third, Eastern fourth, Western fifth, Nyanza sixth, Coast region seventh and North Eastern region the last in the rankings. Here is poverty levels according to tribes.

  18. Digo, ribe, Kauma and Chonyi are all Mijikenda so what were you implying. Mijikenda means nine villages which comprises of Giriama, Chonyi, Kauma, Duruma, Digo, Ribe, Rabai, Pokomo and Jibana. So what do you mean by mijikenda as among the richest and a few of mijikenda being among the poorest?

  23. TRUE riches is not a matter of driving cars. How Many MACHARIAs of Royal Media do Luos have? How many of MWANGIs of Equity do luos have?? How many of KIRUBIs do luos have?? How Many TABITHAs of Keroche do luos have??? KIKUYUS ARE INHERENTLY RICH through their propagated entrepreneurial skills from generation to Generation

  26. I knew you would be subjective poverty index is not measured based on sampling the rich. you have to do an average from the poorest to the richest and do an average. This is bullshit the richest tribe i expected to be the minority and not the Majority this is analysis fail.

  27. Its idiotic to talk about tribal riches. What matters is what is in your own pocket. When you talk of the Macharia's, Mwangi's, Tabitha's, do they share wealth with the whole tribe? Am Kikuyu but thinking along this lines is plain silly. What was the motivation of the research anyway? What value does it add?
